A Long Best Pizza List

They have Di Fara's at number one in spite of the comments on it going downhill on here. Santucci's, which I raved about, and which has become a big local favorite of mine, made it at number 65.

Clickbait list of evidently one man's opinion who never ate all those pies or enough other pies to determine if they were the best. Another internet search and compilation. And, of course, a flyover list with a stop in Chicago to attribute deep dish casserole as pizza.

No surprise that the only Texas cited are in Austin, the only Texas city "acceptable" to the coastal dilettantes.

St Clair has the best pie in New Orleans but I'm not surprised that they did not make the list. They also skipped Bufalina, the best pie in Austin. Not a bad list minus those omissions.

Glad to see that many of my faves were on there (though I don't take such lists TOO seriously!).  The one place that I always wanted to like but just don't is John's on Bleecker Street.  They get a lot of press but I've always found their pizza to be very ordinary. I gave it three tries but I can't see myself going back.  I hope to make it to Chicago one day soon to check out many spots and maybe with ChiTownDiner as my wingman!  Zuppardi's, Nick's, Lombardi's, Patsy's, Artichoke, Grimaldi's, L&B, and Pepe's are top notch.

Prince St. Pizza is my new favorite slice joint and they bring the goods!

I went to DiFara's with a group of Roadfooders this past June and the pizza was pretty good.

Counting down to Foodbme declaring Pizzeria Bianco has no place on that list.

Why are #45 and #59 exactly the same?

SC, they are both restaurants by the same guy, Tony Gemignani.  He has a number of restaurants in Las Vegas and California.

I kinda figured that.  Looks like he uses a standard template for his promotions.
