A very special event...!!!

On KMUD-FM, Monday April 30th we're celebrating not only my birthday, but also over FIFTY years as a DJ...!!!
I was the school DJ at my school in 1960 in the SF Bay Area, spinning 45's in a way the school lunch lady couldn't...
My fate was sealed from that period onward...This was before we ever heard of The Beatles, and surf music was barely started...
It was Jerry Lee Lewis, Bobby Day, The Robins (later known as The Coasters), Bill Haley and The Comets, The Rays, and some guy from Memphis named Elvis...
Yes, Rock and Roll probably *did* ruin my life...or did it...???
Better than being a shoe salesman, account executive, or plumber for 40 years, huh...???
It was 1977 that I went on the air at a radio station...
I later branched out into electronics, television, and video production...but it all started with 45 rpm records that cost about 75 cents each (plus the ones my cousin gave me)
Join us in celebration: (LINK) (www.kmud.org)
Monday April 30th   1:oo PM to 3:oo PM  Pacirfic Time Zone
Also gonna have some live music on the air...
-- Enjoy --

    Congratulations on your Anniversary!!
    R & R Trivia:
The first time a Beatles record was played on an American radio station was Feb. 1963 by Dick Biondi on WLS in Chicago!
    The song was:

Congrats on surviving in this business.
