I think the funniest part of that story is the unpaid extras volunteering to be stuck in a four hour traffic jam for three straight days. If it had been a real tie up, lasting only ten or fifteen minutes, those same people would've been cursing a blue streak.
I guess some folks will put up with anything to be in the moving picture business.
P.S. Harold Ramis was a Chicago boy. Born, bred, and educated here; instilled with a sense of humor peculiar to the Second City. We'll miss him greatly.
