Danny & I depart Chicago on Tuesday at 2pm sharp arriving in Louisville for an overnight.  We'll roll into Nashville mid-day (depending on meals) on Wednesday.

Much more to come....

Do you guys finally throw in the towel and get hitched?

I should check my Wednesday schedule.... Looks like I'll be rolling in from Moab to Denver with a stop for coffee in Grand Junction- then it's The Mexico City Restaurant (home of the fried taco) before the Rockies game, Biker Jim's after the game and The Buckhead Exchange for dinner... I'll have a rocky mountain oyster in honor of your future wedded bliss

We have a secret ceremony scheduled in Taos....

I'm currently working on our potential plans for lunch at Husk on Thursday.  If I understand correctly, Sundancer and Roz will be joining the group on Friday.  Does that mean everyone else on the current attendee list will be doing lunch with the group on Thursday?  My headcount shows 22 people planning to be there.  Anyone else who won't be available on Thursday, please let me know ASAP so we can plan accordingly.

Thanks,
Buddy

Buddy:  Your understanding is correct.  Roz and I will be at the Loveless before 11:30AM on April 27.  Incidentally because Roz is a shopper, we will be staying at the Franklin Cool Springs Courtyard.  Huge shopping and restaurants for Roz.  http://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/bnacc-courtyard-franklin-cool-springs/?scid=bb1a189a-fec3-4d19-a255-54ba596febe2

Paul,
It looks like your hotel is south of town, a little beyond where the Brentwood group is staying.  Roz is welcome to do all the shopping she likes, but if you two go off on your own to those restaurants you mentioned, you'll miss out on all the fun of the Crawl.

We intend on visiting several of the restaurants that you schedule.  Roz likes to shop and that is why we are staying at Cool Springs.  The restaurants there are of no interest to us.  I merely mentioned that because of the area.  Hot chicken and hot fish, bring it on.  BBQ, bring it on and we especially look forward to Loveless.  We have been there many times and enjoyed each and every time.
Usually there is a main event dinner on Saturday night.  Will you be doing that?
Thanks

We're still working on that.  One current contender is Coco's Italian Market, although nothing is etched in stone.  Any ideas?

Thanks for working on the agendae and you deserve thanks for that. CTD also does that if he helps you.  I started a pharma business in Nashville in 1976 and it is still there at 1616 Church st. but I have not spent much time there since retired in 2004.  Gotta be someplace than can handle 25 hungry folks.  My issue is that I cannot eat very much.  I usually only eat one meal a day at home.  Loveless plus one more on Friday will do me in.  Two on Saturday including the main event on Saturday night will do me just fine.  It is difficult finding our kind of place than can handle our numbers on a Saturday night.  You seem to be very good at doing that.
Thank you for your help

Paul, CTD and Davidsanders are doing most of the heavy lifting, I'm just filling in some gaps and providing moral support.  As for your eating capacity, you're free to do as you please, but you may have a better experience if you set your mind on pacing.  We've all learned the hard way to not overdo it at any one spot.  As we always tell people who have never participated in a Crawl, we're all about trying a wide variety of quality foods, not quantity.  A few bites here and a few bites there gets us through the day.  If we try to put down a whole meal at one place, we're done for.

wiil_work_4_bbq, thanks for your prompt response.  We'll adjust for 21 people at Husk.

I'm going to purchase tickets for the Sounds game on Friday and would be glad to do so for any interested parties so we can sit together.

This one's a little pricier than most Triple-A parks but I've heard it's outstanding from several people. ~$21 per ticket after service charge. PM me in the next few days -- would like to buy tickets within a week.

If you've never done minor league baseball, it's a great value and this is one of the top-rated minor league parks in North America.

Thank you for all the positive responses.  I'm most interested however in hearing from those who won't be able to make it.  I'm assuming everyone on the attendee list will be there unless otherwise specified.  I need to get an accurate headcount in order to proceed with plans for that specific meal.

Elliston Place has been visited by Fred Sauceman and myself many times.  It is a favorite of many folks around Vanderbilt.

I had Elliston Place on my tentative schedule (that I've turned over to Gregg) twice, once for breakfast and once for a late evening visit for ice cream. I don't know if it will survive the cut or not.

I had a very lackluster meal when I first visited Elliston Place back in 2005, however the one exception was their superb lemon ice box pie. I returned again in 2012 but only for that pie.
