Also, I was serious about doing a Southern Illinois/Northern Kentucky BBQ Crawl.  The plethora of local Greasehouses and spectacular scenery will make for a memorable weekend.

Only if it features Springfield.

As long as a side trip to Springfield doesn't cut into his big plans for Decatur.

Glad to see someone got the Country fried Steak at Loveless! That is the best version I've had anywhere, but it sure does stick with you. Not sure I'd be up for more eating after that!

I tried to provide a link to the GroupMe conversation so folks who couldn't join us for the actual trip might experience it that way.  Unfortunately, it looks like the link goes to my personal account and I'm not sure what the repercussions are from that access.

Weren't we able delete posts entirely through a "Manage Post" option?  I'm not seeing that offered anymore.

I'm putting my vote in now for the Twin Cities.  Mr. Maki and I were there in late March last year and the weather was fine.  We've been hoping to go back and have a favorite Airbnb.

I think if we go South again, Augusta, GA (and the surrounding area) should be strongly favored.  I am pretty sure Keith could talk Michael Stern into joining the group for dinner one of the nights.  How cool would that be?

Just something to consider...

BTW, like David, I also think Savannah and Charleston should be given strong consideration for next year.

From Augusta to Jackie Hite’s is about an hour. The pig pickin on Friday would be a great stop.

There are so many places on the Roadfood States section in Augusta. There must be about a dozen or more. Enough for a couple of days of a Crawl, or half a day on Gregg’s spreadsheet.

Sounds intriguing but as much as I loved Nashville my first thought is: Back to the South two years in a row?
