Baked Beans to go!

It was Sandra's birthday last Wednesday and Sandra wanted to spend her Birthday weekend in Boston. We did have some great Roadfood while we were there including Jacob Wirth an old school German Restaurant, Union Oyster House an iconic Boston classic, China Pearl for Dim Sum and Ernesto's in the North End for Pizza . There was not a rotten apple in the bunch.

Sandra told me she told her 17 year old son we were going to "Beantown" for the weekend, so he asked her if she could bring him back some bake beans (he was dead serious too). I told Sandra I wasn't aware of any restaurants in Boston proper that do "baked beans to go", however when we walked around Quincy Market I noticed one of my favorite Boston Classics, Durgin Park and they had a sign that noted "baked beans to go" we walked in and sure enough they do offer plastic "to go " containers for their legendary baked beans, so Sandra got some to take back to her kid. I wonder what his reaction was!
