Well, true bay corn aficionados realize that you can't simply lump all bay corn into one category
It's important to understand where on the bay it was grown, since each area has it's own terroir (as the French would say) contributing to the delicate flavor and texture of the bay corn
I myself prefer bay corn from the 'Dock of the Bay", because of the unique- one might say soulfull-
taste and mouthfeel
Many a time I spent sitting there enjoying Dock of the Bay corn, and never feeling it was a waste of time
