Best Vegetarian Restaurant in Houston

Pine Forest Garden Vegetarian Restaurant
9108 Bellaire Blvd.
Houston, TX 77036

Pine Forest Garden Vegetarian Restaurant is one of the most impressive place I have ever been to. It is not like the conventional vegetarian restaurant. Pine Forest is very clean and the food is awesome. In order to enhance the taste of the dishes, some vegetarian restaurant tend to use a little too much oil when they cook. But in Pine Forest Garden, the cooking oil is used in a very moderate amount and yet the dishes are still tasteful. Also believe it or not, the vege Kung Pao chicken tastes just like the real Kung Pao chicken. Also, Tofu in Szechuan style is also a must try. This spicy tofu dish taste especially delicious when mixed with rice. The Lunch buffet is also a great deal. For $5.50, you can have a very healthy alternative lunch without sacrificing the taste.

Well, most people associate Chinese restaurant as not being clean so I was just trying to make a point that this place is exceptional. Not only is this place clean but the food is great too.

snoopy, I see you listed Wonderful Vegetarian on Westheimer on your website. It's been years since I've been there (12 at least, that's when I moved away), but it was always tasty, reliable, and, yes, clean.

Where would you recommend for dim sum in Bellaire Blvd. Chinatown these days?

cyrano, I would say Ocean's Palace on bellaire blvd. by Hong Kong City Mall. The enviroment is nice and the dim sum tastes great. However, it gets very crowded on the weekends.
