Bradley's Country Store Tallahassee,FL

Last week I had to make an unscheduled work trip down to Tallahassee and as usual I was on the lookout for somewhere different to eat. I wound up at Bradley's Country Store which is located on one of the beautiful "canopy roads" that the area is famous for. http://www.bradleyscountrystore.com/index.php?route=common/home
A family business since 1927 now operated by the 3rd and 4th generations. They are known for smoked sausage and pork products with the sausage dogs being famous in the area. The porch rockers were occupied so I grabbed a seat at an old glass top knife display. This place just makes you want to sit and rest your bones. I enjoyed the hot footlong sausage with mustard and onions. The condiments are placed under the sausage which keeps the mess down...

Enjoy the photos.

Hooray for them!  I've always insisted that the condiments be under the hot dog!  Well done!

Oh, I love old general stores like this...there should be an old Coke dispenser filled with bottles and ice water...and then the retro look would be perfect!

Thanks for sharing. I think those porch rockers would always be occupied.

    Their web site is  https://www.bradleyscountrystore.com/

I think it was the late 90's or early 2000's they had a popular restaurant (steaks and long waiting line) at the same location.   I can't find any reference to that now. the restaurant may now be part of the Bradley Pond. ???/
