Re: Bruno Sammartino is dead
Bruno Sammartino was a Pittsburgh landmark since the late 1950's - strong as an ox, quick as a cat, and a helluva nice guy.
My first memories of him was as a 'local favorite' on Channel 11's "Studio Wrestling" hosted by Bill Cardille sponsored by an HVAC company represented by baseball HoF'er Pie Traynor who read their ads "live".
Those were the days: Crusher Lisowski, Killer Kowalski, Buddy Rogers, Haystacks Calhoun - and the best of them all: Bruno, who also outlived them all. R.I.P.
