BurgerFi

This is a new burger joint that just opened in Knoxville.  It was franchised and opened by ex next door neighbor Albert Haynesworth who apparently made some big bucks as a NFL star that faded a few years ago.  I have not tried it but they seem to have a unique approach to burgers and hot dogs.  If any of you are aware of one of their 69 locations, please let me know.  Mamaw Smith and Albert have a very good relationship and I will be taking Mamaw Smith there next week.

It's always great to see someone spending Dan Snyder's money.

(Snyder is the midget megalomaniac owner of the Redskins) money!  Haynesworth, Dana Stubblefield, and Deion Sanders are all laughing on the way to their various banks).

There was a thread a few weeks ago ... their world headquarters is a half mile from where i am currently stationed in North Palm Beach, FL.

I have yet to try on ... they are proliferating like crazy down here.

Man.  I am in the mood for a burger ... ugh.

... and, by coincidence, a place called The Brass Ring is right across the street ... BLUEMAXX, if you are online, let's do a burger.

I thought about hitting up the one that has just opened here in Cincinnati

Then I read the local reviewer's piece, noting in particular "My lunch, with water, was $14.88."

This was for a regular burger - not one of their fancier ones - and fries

I will skip this one until I hear that the burger comes garnished with a 10 dollar bill

There is a BurgerFI close to Knoxville.  The most expensive burger they have is around $9.75. I have attached their menu and I have personally tried them.  If you get fries, drink and burger, I guess you could spent $14+??

I've had nothing but good experiences with them.  They're not cheap, yes, but for once I feel like the premium is earned.  What I like best, at least about the location in Manchester that I frequent, is that you can go crazy with the ingredients and they will still figure out how to sculpt your burger in a way where all your choices harmonize well - they don't just pile stuff on carelessly.  And the fries are the best out of any burger chain I've had, whether fast food, fast-casual, or gastropub.

I'd put them above Five Guys, Mooyah, Smashburger, and Shake Shack.

If you want a $4 meal, there's always the 4-for-$4 deal at Wendy's.
