Interesting article. They did manage to leave out the most important aspect of this rice. They didn't mention what it tasted like. That's a nice bit of important info. I like special rices and am a big fan of Carolina Gold rice. It's got a nice aroma and a nutty taste.

I love Carolina Gold but it's super expensive. I have a 120z bag in my freezer that I've been holding out for a special meal.

I don't know about super expensive, but it is costly. I get it for about $10/2#'s direct from the people at Carolina Plantation. Definitely not my everyday use rice, though, like yourself. Love the taste, though.

Looks like the Cahokia brand rice is selling for about $3.50/2# from their website. Might need to give this one a try.

    I got stuck on this:
"soybeans (85 percent) and wheat (5 percent), his seed rice and Cahokia rice account for 15 percent"

I'm not terrific at math, but doesn't that add up to more than 100%?
