RE: Cincinnati Pizza
I got out to Italianette last night.
Good, not great. Sauce atypical for Cincinnati - not sweet at all, more spicey. Which is a good thing. Crust is pretty thick, with no crust variations even mentioned on the menu, the pizza gets most of it's character from the thick dough.
Probably worth another visit, as the waitress told me after I had eaten that what they could do was take a dough portion for a smaller pizza and rooll it out to the size of the larger pizza, producing a very thin crust. She says she gets requests for that on occasion. That's what I'll do next time, whenever that is.
