Cleveland, OH: Azman and Sons Market

If you are traveling through Cleveland, Ohio and want a taste of authentic Slovenian sausage (klobase) from the place that boasts more Slovenians than Ljubljana, then check out the nearly 100-year-old Azman and Sons Market.  It is not a restaurant, but I recommend picking up some sausage for a picnic or to grill for a tailgate or during your travels this summer.  The proprietor, Frank Azman, will even make you a traditional zelodec sandwich while you wait!

    I'll be in Cleveland twice this summer.  Working all during the day.  Are they open late?

    His work hours are my work hours.  That's okay.  There's early chatter that Cleveland may the preferred destination for next year's Crawl.  That's right, even as we're still in the middle of the Kansas City Crawl, one of the topics of discussion is, where should we go next year?
     
    If that happens, we'll pay them a visit.
