    Good article, thanks!.....I remember my Mom telling us kids about the time she took a train to New York and bought a sandwich out of a machine. Needless to say, I always remembered that story when I bought coked food machines for my vending business. 
       i See "Eatsa" closed their location in NYC and Washington DC. They still have two locations in San Francisco. I though this was a great idea. I think it turned out to be more of a novelty idea. The foods coming out of the machines look to be the kind of food that could be bought in most any deli type store in NYC.

    The Horn & Hardart was a regular stop for mom and me on our ferquent visits to NYC in the 50's. Fun place ,good food...and their coffee was tops!!

    If y'all ever make your way to Amsterdam make sure to eat at the local automat chain called Febo, it's a trip and the food is quite good.
