Cooking with the Sun

Not that I could do any of this but I found it interesting.  What people think of!

Years ago when my folks moved to Arizona, they made "real" Arizona ice tea with a several gallon bottle of water and tea bags left in the Summer Arizona sun! Delicious!

I remember that 'sun tea' was a thing back in the late seventies/early eighties.

Cooking with mirrors was also done in the early seventies.    ... I guess most of us prefer to spend a couple bucks just so the BBQ can cook even in the rain (gas or charcoal) while we sit back & sip a brew.

I cooked a turkey at a Boy Scout Jamboree in a cardboard box lined with foil. Not to shabby.

Since I turned 8 years old in 1980 I'll have to take you at your word about 'key parties'...
