Do You Have A Steak Sauce Recipe?

I am using this one lately:

1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
1 Tablespoon  Worcestershire Sauce
1 Tablespoon Oyster Sauce
1 Stick Butter

On low melt butter. Mix remaining ingredients together in a small bowl. Slowly add to melted butter while mixing. Bring to simmer and set aside. Heat up when ready to serve. Serve over steak, baked potatoes or spooned over white rice.

No, but I am most definitely "one of those" who sauces his steak:  Béarnaise for filet and L&P Worcestershire on ribeye & sirloin.  And, it doesn't matter if the meat is Prime or Choice; sauce gets applied.

No sauce for me.  The only exception is once in a while filet mignon sauce marchand de vin.  Never, ever L&P or A1.

Not really a big fan of steak sauces. I usually just apply some fresh lemon juice to mine. That'll usually do it. I have only one sauce I rarely use and that's South African Monkey Gland Sauce. Not available in jars, bottles or cans outside of South Africa. You have to make it yourself. Almost every steak restaurant in SA has their own take on the sauce, so it's just a matter of finding the recipe that appeals to you .
Here are a couple. I like the Food.com one best and have used it in the past. The one from Braai is quite good, too. I usually use Major Gray's chutney, though, not a hot one.

I don't order beef in France.  Why?  When you have foie gras, confit de canard, cochon de lait, riz de veau, rognons avec Cognac, sole Meunière, moules frites and so many other great French dishes why would you order beef?

If you like beef then order boeuf Bourguignon or boeuf en croute or filet de boeuf aux morilles, etc., etc., but not a steak!

Butter, red wine and pan juices...but a good steak needs no sauce.

A1 is really good on bacon sandwiches though. Just Nueske's bacon, A1 and a couple good pieces of thick bread.

Look for a recipe for Morton's steakhouse peppercorn sauce. Delicious and keeps for a few weeks. Perfect for st4eak frites.

Agreed, but I think a good steak can also benefit from a good sauce just as it benefits from proper seasoning.

I grill my steaks 99.9% of the time so there are no pan juices and therefore no sauce.  But today the extra-thin sirloin tip steaks I'm grilling for sandwiches at a party will be offered with A-1 on the side.
