Dual propane tank setup question

I searched and couldn't find a answer. I'm looking to connect 2 100lb propane tanks my question is : Can I run the line from the far tank to a tee to connect the second tank then to my 2 stage regulator?

Use an rv tee, you can run right, left or both. Place tee at the regulator. Use the black flexible lp hose.

You can use a automatic regulator that will auto switch when one tank is empty and switch to the full one. Then you can refill the empty one with interrupting the gas flow from the full one.

Thanks for the responses. I'm trying to pull as many btu's as possible so using both tanks at the same time is why i wanna tee them together.  Thanks again

Im going to make my own Tee with 2 shutoffs allowing me to have either one or both on at the same time, instead of the automatic changeover one, which doesnt support combining both tanks supply simultaneously
Or, just get something like this (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000K287CG/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and open the valve on which tank you ant to use, or open both tank valves.

I thinking of doing the same thing. I saw that tee with the POL female and male. my 2 stage regulator has a 1/4 npt female inlet. So I'd have to reduce it down coming out of the tee.

Yes, most 2 stage reg have a 1/4 inch fem NPT. Im using a POL pigtail like this

.. BUT you will also need this adapter...

I got the same pigtail but 2' in length. I also purchased the 1/4" adapter with back flow preventer.
