Ezzell's Barbecue, Tuscumbia, AL

Went over today with a couple of friends for lunch.  We all had barbecue plates, I had fries and hot mustard slaw, one buddy had the vinegar slaw and hot mustard slaw, the other guy had vinegar slaw and beans.
We all agreed that the meat had a very good taste to it, just enough smoke to give it a hint of smoke without OD'ing you on hickory.  The texture was great and very tender.  Their sauce is just a tad bit on the sweet side for me.  I like a little more vinegar in my sauce.  Total cost of the meal per person was about $9.00
This is the second restaurant opened by the Ezzell's, the other being located in Red Bay, AL (Home of Allegro Motorhomes)
I've submitted this qjoint for the guide.

That looks like a wicked pink smoke ring there, harley!

Just looking at that plate has me wishing that my flight to Memphis was tonight and not tomorrow!

That looks wonderful!  I wonder if these bbq Ezzells are related to the catfish Ezzells?  If so, wouldn't you love to go to their family reunions!
