All roadfooders, especially those who love BBQ should try to access and read the NYTimes food section today. It is in praise of pork butt, lamb ribs, pork belly, and more fat.
Today is an unusual congruence between the Times and many of us on a subject of taste, and enjoyment of a gret meal.

also, has any of our NYC and environs members been to any of the places mentioned?

    I was smiling "ear to ear" while reading this article. Then at the bottom was a Google ad which stated "Meat Causes Cancer."
    The only restaurant that I have been to which is mentioned in the article is "Babbo" and I liked it so much that I went there again. (It must have been that lardo pizza!)

    I just read the article, it is great. Unfortunately, Alaska is a LONG way from NYC.
