Food Truck Eye Candy

I know I talked about it on a previous post. But these babies haunt my dreams. But since they relisted yesterday, I thought I'd pass along the info. 2(two) 20kw Onan Marine Generators for $3000 US. Blakkmoon, let me know if you wanna go half-sy on these.

    Well the price is right.
But it looks like one is good and the other for parts.

unit 1. runs well and makes good power
unit 2. runs and does not make power

    24volt  ???

Yeah I know, but the fact engine still runs means that its a power supply issue. So it would probably a simple fix to get the power output going again.

And yep 24 volt, is a typical electric scooter battery. Also they are used in larger equipment, forklift, excavators, etc.

AAAhhhh  I get the 24 v thing now.
    Duh!

Yeah, I think for a good one AND a parts one, it's a great deal.
But it could be anything on the no power one.
Could be simple wiring, a board, or the entire generator unit.

Can't tell if its a quiet diesel unit.... doesn't say.

I want one of those small green units.
    They are super quiet.

Maybe this one is as well.
You would have to see it running to know.

    BTW.
Our local media has done some stories recently about people running down to the USA to get screamin deals on cars, trucks, equipment, etc.
Only to find out the stuff was salvaged from some of the many flood and hurricane zones.

Not that everything is garbage, but to really know your stuff, check it all out very well, before you buy.
They are even warning us to be wary of buying stuff HERE that is too good a deal, because people are buying truckloads of stuff and reselling it here.

All because morons like me get excited about a great deal, and don't think it through. :)
