Freezing onions, bell peppers and jalapenos
Each fall, Mamaw Smith takes the highly production peppers and puts them on the chopping board along with onions and puts them in the freezer in small portions. I am able to take them out and add them to what ever I cook. I say highly productive because it seems that the peppers in my garden get extremely productive in the fall. I do not know why.
I find this mixture wonderful to add to anything that I coook like potatoes, chili, beef stew or many other things under this category.
