It's Syttende Mai weekend here in Stoughton and there'll be all kinds of food, ranging from typical fair fare to traditional Norwegian dishes.  Here's the special menu from one of the local restaurants:

It's another Syttende Mai weekend here in Stoughton but sadly, it appears no one's offering lutefisk.  Or if they are, they're not willing to admit it.

We have our annual food truck festival coming up. The location has been moved to the high school from Windle Field  (Millbury, MA). I don't know how "funky" it will be, because our Board of Health stays on top of this stuff. It is run by and is a fund raiser for our re-development authority. They are looking to put one of those antique looking sidewalk clocks in our small down town. A friend runs it, but I have not asked him about it in fear that I will be asked to volunteer.......I do plan to attend.

There are about 200 food-related fairs and festivals in the great state of Louisiana. http://www.laffnet.org/directory.html here's a guide. As y'all know Louisiana is the best eating state in the entire country.
