RE: Green Tea Ice Cream
The perfect complement to green tea ice cream is red beans. For the creoles among us, this refers to sweet soy beans, so hold on. Red bean paste also makes an excellent filling for mochi, especially when there are sesame seeds on the outside. I had this combo for dessert at a dim sum place on Monday. It's always good, and when it's warm, it's heaven! Unfortunately, it can ruin one's appetite for Chinatown Ice Cream Company, which is a distinct bummer.
