Negative. Mac and cheese on the side perhaps. Never on the sandwich.

No but I'm a constructionist. It may taste good but I could never bring myself to eat it. I know there's a nuclear arms race to make quirky new foods for businesses to sell and more power to them but I'm old school. I'd be happy to eat the components in their proper form: bacon grilled cheese with a side of mac but not all piled together.

How many meals would never have been created because it had never been done before.....I say,be creative. If it tastes good, you found something. If not.....oh well! Hell, the sandwich would never have been created if The Earl said, "no we eat our bread separate from our meat." Just my feeling....

I just came up with one. Take a ribeye steak, a baked potato and a wedge salad with homemade bleu cheese dressing and pile that between a couple slices of grilled Texas Toast. I'll bet it would sell like crazy. And I would order it too. As separate components on a couple different plates.

Well, if the bacon isn't crisp I'll have two of them, please.
