Headed to Little Rock and Hot Springs

I'll be headed to Little Rock and Hot Springs for about four days in early March, a new area for me. I've read a number of the reports on Roadfood about the area, and while I won't be able to travel too far away from the cities, there are a number of places I'm anxious to try.

My major stops will include:

Doe's Eat Place
Stubby's
McClard's
Craig's BBQ (in De Valls Bluff)
Mrs. Lena's (in De Valls Bluff)
Family Pie Shop (in De Valls Bluff)

I'm also considering :
Catfish N (in Dardenelle)
Cotham's Mercantile (in Scott)
Charlotte's Eats and Sweets (in Keo)
The Pancake Shop (Hot Springs)
Feltner's Whata-Burger (in Russellville, although I don't know if it's worth the trip. I might go back to Does's for lunch)
Franke's Cafeteria (Little Rock)
B-Side (Little Rock)

Any advice and suggestions would be greatly appreciated, as always.

Mr. Whiskers in Hot Springs is a definite must- it was a favorite among the group last year.

One more question, for any of you out there. I've been looking at the menu at Doe's in Little Rock. Since I'll be by myself, I was wondering if there's any advice about whether to order the 8oz filet, or go for the smallest porterhouse. I don't want to miss the Doe's "experience", and have read the reviews about the porterhouse. But I obviously won't be able to come anywhere close to eating the smallest, 2 1/2 pound porterhouse, especially if I try the shrimp and the tamales as well. I don't mind spending the money and not being able to finish, if that's the way to go.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Go for it!
The weight is Gross Weight so deduct the bone weight and shrinkage and it's manageable.
Get a to go box and you have midnight snacks! Porterhouse has more flavor too!
