Hello from Fairburn, GA

It has been a very long time since I posted here.  I have been a member since 2008 but my last post was in "Where Should I Eat" in 2017.  I thought that before I ask again that I would post a recommendation and try to post a couple of pictures.  Two years ago we moved from Stone Mountain, GA to Fairburn, GA.  A fairly short move but we now have a lot of restaurants that we've never tried.  One of those is a family owned, Italian restaurant in Peachtree City, GA named Bogo Italia.  It is a very small restaurant with wonderful food.

The current owners are the son and daughter of the couple who opened the restaurant.  The first picture is of the inside of the restaurant.  Just inside the door of the restaurant was an uncle who was playing an accordion.  Halfway through our meal the son made an announcement, which I didn't really hear (it is a little noisy), but we realized that the uncle was playing the national anthem on the accordion.  Everyone in the restaurant stood up - what else would we do when we heard our national anthem, right?

The homemade pasta was delicious.  I had the Ravioli Granchio e Gamberi (Jumbo crab and shrimp stuffed ravioli in a light and smooth cheese sauce with a hint of nutmeg).

The pasta was tender, the sauce very light and creamy and the seafood very flavorful and fresh.  My husband had Rigatoni alla Carbonara which I did not get a picture.  Of course for dessert we had the cannoli.

I highly recommend this restaurant if you ever find yourself in Peachtree City.

I am going to do better this year reporting our trips.  We travel at least one weekend out of the month and eat out in very interesting, local spots.  I look forward to getting recommendations as well as reporting.

Thanks for looking,
Julie

I had to do a map search for Louisville. I've never heard of it, but it looks like you aren't far from Waynesboro, right? My husband and I are Kansas City Barbeque Society contest representatives. We have a contest in Waynesboro.
