Just FYI.

You might google this:
Upstate New York hot dog maker Hoffman expands, invests, heads west
to get a recent article about Hoffmans.
I don't have enough points or some such, to post the URL.

In looking at packages in Syracuse markets some Hoffman's are made in plant 7899 which is Syracuse;
plant 1633 which is Abbyland Foods in Wisconsin; Handwichs are plant 46945 Pane Vita LLC Rochester NY.

Up until a month or so ago most of the packages were made in 1633,
they're mixing it up now. I have heard the loose packaged dogs, deli dogs,
are made in the 'cuse. Not sure of that.

You could also google FSIS inspection to see where I got the plant info.
The numbers are part of the label.

Interesting...Abbyland's website doesn't make any mention (that I could find) of private label work.

Its "Tailgate" line of bratwurst is pretty good.

Abbyland's about us. "...Abbyland Specialty Meats is a sales division expanding our private label and co-packing opportunities..."
I have nothing against them, the dogs are still good.
The other article I cant post the URL of says that Hofmann expanding in Syracuse as well.
It is spelled Hofmann by the way, I don't know how may different ways I spelled it.

Don't ask me to spell the name of the salt potato company.
Don'ts as me to spel potatoe...
