I've not had the brisket from Giant Eagle but it would be hard in my opinion to beat out Ray Ray's brisket. He's only open Friday-Sunday and the line can be up to 30 minutes long on a nice day but it is the best I've had around here by far. He does his regular brisket on Friday and Saturday and the special grass fed brisket on Sundays. I haven't even had a chance to try the grass fed yet but the regular is very good. Also, last time I stopped by he had burnt ends that I wish he would make a regular menu item and not just an occasional special.
The last time I went to Hoggy's I thought it had gone way downhill. I knew they were in trouble when they started offering an all you can eat lunch buffet. It's too bad becasue it was pretty good at one time. Never great but good.
