And then I clicked on Forums to post the above. Next, I clicked on the LOGO at the top of the page to go back to the home page and got the gray screen again. Oh, well.

The new default opening page is "Restaurants Near Me." On a device that knows your location, it automatically creates a map of Roadfood restaurants near you, wherever you may be. On one that doesn't recognize your location, you get the New Orleans map as a default and then must type in whatever location you want to search. Clicking on Latest Reviews should bring you to Latest Reviews, which was the prior opening page.

I had problems with this at first until I cleared my cache.

I cleared my cache and when I opened the home page I got the Columbus map. The trouble is, I had to use Chrome to get to the home page. Internet Explorer still opens a gray page covering the home page. I trust something will be done to fix this as I don't plan to keep going back and forth between browsers.

I get the New Orleans map, too, on Chrome.  I tried to switch to my home town and while it will shift the map to where I live, no restaurants populate the map like they did for New Orleans.

Sorry, but I liked seeing the food porn photos first when I went to Roadfood. I know they're now just a click away, but still...

OK. This is weird. Using IE I Googled Roadfood and picked the first one. I got the gray screen. So I picked the second one and got the home page, with the actual daily reviews.

Thanks, Michael. Great advice!

I did what you did except I used Safari on my Mac. Now, the home page opens with the restaurant reviews just as always did.

I also notice however, the site is very slow to respond to my mouse clicks.
Anyone else having that problem?

I have ADBLOCK and it does a good job. No ad's seen on roadfood.

Ok, folks. I may have solved the problem with the opening homepage as "restaurants Near Me" or, the New Orleans map.
Change your bookmarked setting for Roadfood from roadfood.com to.....
https://roadfood.com/latest-reviews/
It will always open with "Latest Reviews" as it always used to.

I have to agree with this sentiment.  Opening up the site to those lovely food images was much more inviting than the map. Do the smart thing Fexy, go back to the way it was.  If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

No need to "cry in your beer".
If y'all will just follow my advice as stated 3 comments above, It'll be just like the good old days.

Michael, do you not have any other "browser" you can use? I'm only familiar with Mac.
I have Safari and Mozilla Firefox.

One of my least favourite things is having to use different browsers to access different sites, especially when in today's age of technology it should be a given that websites will be compatible with all browsers. For example, I use Chrome pretty exclusively, but for a couple of sites I have to use Firefox or they won't work. Which means I have to change how I do everything just to accommodate a site unwilling to keep up with the times. Sure, using another browser is a workaround, but it's one that should not be necessary if a site cares about its customers.

We were a lot happier not knowing about everyones personal life. No Facebook for me!

Nope. No other browser, and no desire to try learning a new one.

I agree, Michael. Technology sucks! It would be a lot more enjoyable if they wouldn't change something just after you've figured it out.

Mine (Win10 - MS Edge) opens with a blank google Map of 'Restaurants Near Me'.

I just click on "Latest Reviews" and everything goes back to 'normal'.

For those that haven't seen it yet, billyboy has an outstanding new review for a place in NYC's Chinatown.
