Hopkinsville, Ky ... Mom and Pop!?? Total Solar Eclipse

Hi Fans, Mr. Food Driven here. Have decided on Hopkinsville, Ky., on the last minute as to where I want to go for the total solar eclipse. Looking for mom and pop place to eat just before the eclipse. I'll take any suggestion as to where to go. Any local foodie, can join me if u like, or if you are taken a day off from work....lol.
As of now, still not able to find me myself a solar eclipse glasses, to keep my eyes safe. Thanks, Charlie.

P.S. Let me know if there going to be any traffic issues. As tons of people will drive to eclipse area (like me)...lol, on a day trip.

Ferrell’s Snappy Service opened in 1936 and is the most well-known restaurant in the area. They're expecting upwards of a 100k people to descend on the small town so expect to spend several hours in traffic.

Also, expect no cell service as the crush of attendees will overwhelm the carriers ability to provide service.

Scrumptiouschef, long time no see, since the Lexington, Ky trip. How r u? After reading up on the Ferrell's Snappy Service, I notice that all said no french fries. So, I'm still looking around. I came across Bar-B-Q Shack, but just now found out it's not open till Wednesday. So, back to ur plan....lol. Ill be riding my motorcycle down 41 south.
