How did y'all celebrate Repeal Day

I doubt if any of our august members were around to celebrate Repeal Day when it was originally feted but you never know. Did y'all pound some shots last night; sip a can of Hamms; savor an amaro; or otherwise tipple?

I do wonder if any Roadfooders were around back in 1933. The youngest ones would now be 85 years old. There may be a centenarian or two who may remember visiting the occasional blind tiger way back when. I'd love to hear their tales.

I wasn't around for Prohibition, But I do know the "dry" counties of Kentucky.  After a beer run while at Barren River and going to Tennessee for the closest liquor store , I always bring more than I need. Now to end the other prohibition locally and let the States make money!

When we were teenagers we either had to go to the bootlegger (who was also a hooker) or drive to Jellico, Tennessee. Either option was an exciting bit of rough trade for a carload of 16 year old boys.
