How does Hot Dog vending work?
I have a number of questions regarding how the whole process of hot dog vending from a car works. Some of these questions can be found below:
1) How far in advance, if at all, must the hot dogs be cooked? If they are cooked in advanced, how are they kept warm/hot enough for the consumer a nd for how long can one keep it that way?
If they are not cooked in advanced, then how quickly does it take one to cook them?
2) What types of locations, e.g. outside of super markets, K-marts, Home Depots, downtown, etc., are generally considered to be best?
3) On average, how many hot dogs a day do you sell? If this number differs by location, what are the numbers at these various locations?
4) How many hours a day would you say, generally speaking, are "peak" hours for the sale of hot dogs? If this number varies based on the season, what are the different numbers in the different seasons?
These are the questions that I have for now.
I would appreciate it if some of the more knowledgeable and experienced members of this forum could answer them.
