Interested in Food Permit Fees around the US

Hi there,
I writing this post because we are currently in a fight with the largest county health board in the State of WA King County, consisting of Seattle and the surrounding areas. Over proposed increases to their permit fees for 2015. As concessionaires our permits go from $281 per Event-per Booth to $400 per Event-per Booth. At a total cost for permit for 2015 of about $12,000.00 for 2 booths at the 15 events we had planned on. These Fees are the same for a one day 3hour event as they are for a 21 day Fair. King County is the highest in our state by far. With most other counties in the state costing more like $400 for the whole year. Additionally Not All Concessions are treated equally. Food trucks would pay around $1500 per year($865 for food permit & about $500 for a commissary permit) and are able to operate anywhere within the county without additional permitting.
But as we haven't ventured much past our home State I'm curious as to how other health districts are charging for their services.
Thanks,
-Anthony

In PA we pay a state fee of $85 per year per vehicle. If a city has their own inspector the fee's vary. Ours is $75 annually or $35 per event. If I don't do any in the city it's only the state fee. in MD it varies by county. it's approx. $200-$300 per year per county.

Just an update, after over a year long battle with King County(Seattle area) in 2014-15, we were able to work out with the county that they would do a certified operator program. And after 5 initial permits for $700 the first year. We can have an unlimited amount of permits for $850 each year. We paid both fees the first year (2016) and this year we paid just the latter one. Saved us so much money over the last two years we are going to be hiring a New Manager for next year to run another booth at out events. However we have seen a ratcheting up of fees in the surrounding counties so we will be limiting low performing events in those counties.
