Here is Jiggers breakfast menu. This is just a plain ol' fashioned Worcester Car diner in suburban East Greenwich. Not the "big city" and I would place Providence metro as "average" in terms of national cost of living.

absolutely no need to apologize- these topics and discussions are what Roadfood is all about
Sadly- I'm looking at the first page of the forum- and this thread is the only Roadfood relevant topic on the entire page.

But when you get your truck on the road, you'll know just what to do!

I honestly haven't seen $5 breakfasts since "the 90's" and I don't live in an expensive area- you want expensive?- just go to Boston and NYC, you can't get out of a decent "nothing fancy" breakfast for less than $20. Sure many places around here offer eggs and toast only specials for $5 but add coffee, tax and tip and you're still running close to $10.

**BTW...I simply cannot wrap my head around so many roadfooders who don't drink coffee, but then on the other hand, I despise soda....blech!  **

Come to Pittston for breakfast.  Two eggs, home fries, meat, toast AND coffee......$2.50(M-F 7-9)

I'm Another newb, trailer ordered...HelloAttempting to DIY myself into business ownership. First Build as I am Planning Truck Build: Getting Fullsize Refrigerator to Fit.   Fire Suppression Advice Needed! ASAP!!! I was wondering about the value of my Old cooking oil and if I need a Fryer oil security officer.  As I execute my Master Plan, Part Deux .... I am torn between a Generator vs battery setup.  It is a Troubled Build (Brake Pedal Return Problem) and I am seriously considering swapping components.  But, I have to ask you all....Is this insane??

I just realized why I had such sticker shock originally,,,,,soup, chili, or stew is what I eat before I start eating.  Lol.  This spare tire I sport around is rough sometimes.  'The Heights' is nothing to write home about, but its a decent breakfast stop.  I wouldnt bother with lunch or dinner there.  Frozen fries and such.  They advertise their wings pretty hard, but nobody is going to bother with that when we have the legendary 'Drover's Inn' 10 minutes away (worth a drive - https://www.yelp.com/biz/drovers-inn-wellsburg).  On Fridays, everybody in the valley has fish fries and serve Coleman's fish sandwiches - (https://www.yelp.com/biz/colemans-fish-market-wheeling), my favorite traditional burger around is at Patty's Diner in Weirton - (https://www.facebook.com/PattysFamilyRestaurant/ , but my wife doesnt care for it as its a legit hole in the wall, but you'll get the fresh cut fries and so forth), and the best burger (jalapeno burger, trust me on this) in the valley comes from Spicy Gringo's in Weirton (https://www.facebook.com/Spicy-Gringos-136674836391944/).  Fantastic food and Alan the owner is salt of the earth.  Worth a drive.  Pizza's a hard sell in the area, but we all love DiCarlo's.  DiCarlo's are littered around the valley, but do the one either in Wellsburg or Elm Grove.  Truly better than the other ones.  (https://www.yelp.com/biz/dicarlos-original-pizza-wellsburg).  Lastly, if your in the mood for chicken, Breezy Heights has you covered (http://forums.roadfood.com/Breezy-Heights-Tavern-Avella-PA-m446540.aspx).  We struggle when it comes to food overall where I live, but like anywhere else, there's some hidden gems that are usually fairly cheap.

Did you happen to catch my recent review for Giannamore's in Wintersville, OH?  Have you been there before?  There are three places within a couple miles that serve the same style pizza, but in two visits, we noticed that Giannamore's does a much bigger business than Ray's Pizza and this location of DiCarlo's.

Actually, I think this topic deserves it's own thread.....

I didnt see that review yet BB.  Yes, I have eaten Giannamore's a few times.  When my daughter played high school basketball against Indian Creek, we would always stop there either before or after the game.  I like it.  The sauce has more of a green pepper taste in my opinion than a lot of the other places.  Have you ever tried Osso's in Washington PA Cliff?  We like it a lot also.

Anyways, I wanted to post in here because its official that i'll be trying John's Famous Stew in March.  Four of us are going out for the Supercross races and I got them to agree to try it out (finally going to St. Elmos too).  Its a good ways away, but i'll report back.
