The proportions in this recipe are up to you:
fresh chopped parsley
fresh chopped chives
fresh chopped tarragon
fresh chopped chervil
capers or caper berries
chopped sour pickle
You can use dried herbs, but it is not nearly as good.
Some recipes call for the addition of a chopped hard boiled egg, some prepared mustard, chopped shallot, and sweet pickle.
