RE: Like em raw??
On "BBQ with Bobby Flay" right now was a segment about Hog island Oysters, have any of you had those? they looked good!!
Now as a New Englander, I like raw oysters (Wellfleet or Damariscotta) and I like them fried too although as I get older fried does not agree with me too much. My grandmother used to make scalloped oysters on Christmas Eve, I would continue that but no one in my house eats oysters. My clams I like in chowda or casino or stuffed or the summer fav-steamers. I am very interested in some day trying sheelfood from other parts of the country, but for now I am very happy living in NE-boy we had good lobster New Year's!!
