Madison WI - Copper Harbor MI

Leaving St. Louis on Saturday to head to Madison WI then Copper Harbor Mi on way to Isle Royal. Any good suggestions for Madison or en route. Willing to detour but we are avoiding Chicago Area.

I vote for Smoky's Club. Try the 32-ounce T-bone with hash browns:

The "Smokey's"website looks real good. I have requested that my daughter (lives near Madison) visit the place ASAP and give us some feedback!

Feedback from daughter-- from her friends who go to Smokey's...It is very crowded almost every night. The steaks are great, but you have to wait often for a table !!

Copper Harbor, MI ?? LOL. Not much to pick from eating wise there, just beautiful scenery. There is a german place right in Copper Harbor, which was pretty good, but I dont remember the name. Trust me ,you will find it .
