Mom needs help remembering a sucker?

She said back in the 70's she'd get a sucker at the movie theater that was bumpy on one side and smooth on the other and had some sort of tag or something say You are a winner and you could get a free sucker she said she remembers the cherry and grape flavors but doesn't remember who made them or if they still exist..anyone have a clue what she's talking about?????

Thanks so much

Crystal

I had these in elementary school in the late 1960s. I think they were round but may have been heart shaped. I'm certain the winner label was round. I don't remember the brand but am very interested to find out. Thanks, Gerald

I made a sketch of how I remember the Lollipop. It's been almost forty years so I can't say how accurate it is. I showed it to my wife and she said it was "Charms". I plan on looking for the Charms Sweet Pop lollipops so that I can see if it has the round bumps. Judging from internet images, I don't think they do. After all these years I'm sure the design could have been changed. I can't remember what the free sucker label text was. On my sketch I put WINNER. I think that's what it said. Charms should do something like that again. It motivated us to buy them from the Social Hill Elementary School Little Store. Some of the candy bar companyies have been putting chances to win inside their wrappers. I never have one anything. Chances must be very slim. I remember winning a free sucker after probably one or two trys. Just looked at the top of the page and noticed that pictures can be uploaded. I'll check it out and see if I can upload my sketch.

I used to like Charms as a kid (in the 1970s), but I don't remember the bumps.
