Let's all remember that the Rapeistburgers are the "good guys"

Such allegations are always 'concerning' and society always gives the benefit of any doubt, as was done in the notorious "Duke Lacrosse Case", to the alleged victim.

However, as the Buddha once observed:  "Three things cannot be hidden - the Sun, the Moon, and the Truth".

In this case, the Truth took seven years: www.nydailynews.com/sports/football/da-georgia-roethlisberger-case-2010-not-case-article-1.2936346

I am most certainly not putting Rothlesberger - or even the Duke Lacrosse players - up for sainthood.  But, rapists they were not.

Yes, so very odd about how the woman was adamant that she was raped and then suddenly she was adamant that she had not.  I wonder what changed her mind, what could it possibly be........hmmmm

I'll stipulate the obvious:  to Yinzers the STEELERS are "always the 'good guys'."; surely, the same is true of the Queen City denizens' attitude about their team.

Above, I stipulated that Smith-Schuster deserved to be suspended for the play you just reiterated.

If it helps, I'll further stipulate that I believe the Cincinnati media when they say that Burfict, in his private life, is a truly wonderful husband and father.

Again, it's only a game.

Unfortunately for their partisans the BUNGLES seem always to find creative, but cruel, new ways to disappoint:

Several things say the opposite about the Rapistburgers

Carson Palmers "Oelhoeffen'ed" knee

Kevin Huber's "Garvin'ed" jaw

Keith River's 'Whines Hard'ed" jaw

Giovanni Bernards "Shazier'ed" cranium

Tyler Kroft's 'Mitchell'ed' cranium

Mike Tomlin's special teams assist

to name just a few

The Rapistburgers are taught to headhunt and to spear.  Period.  Dirty, dirty team.

All STEELERS haters will  this video.

It is an over-the-top diatribe against all things "Steeler" - players, coaches, city, fans, and even the Rooneys!

Heck, he even take a swipe at Primanti's!

But, as a typical Yinzer and Steeler fan I do have a warped sense of humor and find this to be truly hilarious.

Viewer warning:  persistent rough language:

Grab a box of Kleenex and go cry in a corner somewhere but not on here.  Get over it.  The Bungles LOST.  The dirty, dirty Steelers WON.

Yes, the Rapistburgers and the Referees won.  Understood.

Someday, I hope our team will be able to handle defeating two teams at once.

I dont think winning is easy in the NFL, period, for any team

But it is a lot easier for the Rapistburgers to win when the black-and-white striped team helps them out so much

TJ - we Steelers fans only kid the ones we love.  And we love playing the Bungles.

Sarcasm aside, please realize that the BENGALS suffer from having an idiot for an owner.  That, of course, was not always so.

His father, Paul Brown, was a great coach, a co-founder of the real Cleveland Browns (which were even named for him!), and quite evidently a sharp businessman who, after being squeezed out in Cleveland by another idiot majority owner, had the skill, reputation, and acumen to found the Bengals and control the expansion team.

As I posted it for your enjoyment, please review the video I posted in #156 above which is a total "slam" against the Stillers.  The reason I find it to be so deliciously funny is that there are many grains of truth in it that were sprinkled in for the sake of verisimilitude.  Even though I cannot agree with its conclusions, there are indeed in it points of fact which I must grant.

It's only a game!

BTW, there is hope that poorly managed franchises can turn it around.  In that, the Steelers are "exhibit A".  After Art drafted Bob Ferguson #1 (from THE OSU) found later that he was 'low', the Steelers co-founded a revolutionary scouting combine which, among other things, tested for I.Q.  Noll (mentored by Paul Brown), Greene, Bradshaw, and Woodson followed and the rest "is history".

Frankly, I do not know what to advise about the Bengals' "ownership problem".  All I can do is feel sorry for Cincy.  If you must project and vent against the admittedly imperfect STEELERS, fine.  I understand fully; hey, I didn't much like Paul Brown's Browns constantly humiliating Pittsburgh either.

I was a Cleveland Browns fan when they had Marion Motley and Otto Graham. I left Cincinnati and got on with my life the spring before the Bengals played their first game. So never had an allegiance and thought the name and uniforms were never remotely related to Cincinnati.

I started following the Steelers when they were so bad that I rooted for '3 & outs' so that their All-Pro punter Bobby Joe Green could show off his leg!  The Browns used to beat us like a drum except for one remarkable Saturday night game in 1964 when John Henry Johnson became the oldest player in NFL history to rush for 200 yards in a single game.

Jim Brown remains the best running back I ever saw and is still the only RB to average >100 yards/game for his career.

Metro.

It is only a game. Yes, agreed. But, it is supposed to be refereed without bias. But it usnt. And that makes it a CF, not a game. We are very angry that game after game after game we don't get a game, we get a farce of us vs two teams, one wearing black and white stripes

The Steelers love playing the Bengals. Yes, yes they do. What team wouldn't love going into a game knowing no matter how well or poorly they play, they are virtually assured of a victory by the grace of NFL referees? Takes the pressure off to have to perform well.

Mike Brown is a flaming idiot. YES, AGREED 100%. I refer to him as SoaG on Bengals chat boards. Son of a Genius. The apple fell far from the tree, rolled down a hill, and landed in a cesspool where it sank to the bottom. He has made exactly one good decision in the last ten years and that was to MOSTLY stay out of the draft room. This year, he went against that decision and we ended up with a guy whose primary success was using his world class speed to get to the trainers room before Tyler Eifert, thereby securing the cosiest chair.

I am not precisely sure why the league throws such favor at the Rapistburgers and the Belicheats. I only know for certain that they do. I suspect it has to do with money, which is the number 1 thing (with no close second) God-dell cares about

Final thought in summary - the Rapistburgers lose last week's game if the officiating had not blatantly favored them

TJ,

Your insistence that NFL officials work to make sure the Bengals lose games crosses the border of loser-fan hysteria into the realm of idiocy. It's just not true. It isn't happening. And you're making yourself look ridiculous.

TJ,

You're right. If Goodell hadn't been so upset when he ordered chili in Cincinnati and got Greek meat sauce on spaghetti instead he wouldn't have given officials orders to keep throwing flags on the Bengals whether they deserved it or not.

In all fairness, I think that Al Davis' Oakland-L.A.-Oakland Raiders probably have the best case for alleging 'conspiracy' against them.  And I say that as a "despiser" of the Raiders and a beneficiary of the "Immaculate Reception".  But that was before a million camera angles and replay review, so who but Fuqua, Tatum, and Harris "really know"?

But the rule and the technology was there for the "Brady Tuck".  That one really takes the cake!
