well, you know, also for our own mental health, let's not even mention how the first half went on a certain game on 12/4/2017

a casual fan or outsider watching said first half might be confused as to which team was bound for the playoffs and which team was not

after watching JuJu Schuster in the 4th quarter of this same game, however, they would no longer be confused over which team was composed of thugs

that aside, I am unsure that the Ohio college team in question can begin to compete with the 'Pennsylvania equivalent' in terms of sexual assaults by coaches.

Knowing that I am risking actually finding out I can't help wondering what the Hell you're carrying on about.

The referees did

Unless you mean that Rapistburgers fans are afraid of the Ravens......and didnt want the possibility of facing the Ravens in the 2nd round of the playoffs?

I wouldn't say afraid, but I would say that facing one's primary Division rival 3 times in a season and expecting to go 3-0 is 'difficult'.

Frankly, playing any of the Bills, Chiefs, Jags, or Titans would be preferable to having to go 3-0 against the Ravens.

It'll probably be the Jag-offs and I don't think Big Ben will be throwing five picks again.

I thought Ohio and Pennsylvania were best buds. Wow.
Oh well. I think the Chiefs had their December swoon early and will surprise a few NE and Pittsburgh fans. And players.

There's nothing for me to root for this post season. So, I'll pick my donkey.... Go KC Chiefs!

Why? Well 5 reasons:

Alex Smith was my back-up QB on my fantasy team, and when I needed him, he delivered!

KC Has not won a super bowl since before the merger, when they defeated the favored Vikings a few years before I was born.

KC, like Washington, honor the Native Americans with their mascot (I know some people disagree, but we'll have to agree to disagree)

Not only has KC has never won a Super Bowl since I was born, they have never knocked out one of my favorites from Super Bowl playoffs. There's no bad blood.

Being an AFC West team, they are not a natural rivalry to my teams.

Go Chiefs!

I'd love to see any of the following teams win in the Super Bowl

Rams - because Whitworth is there
Chiefs - reasons stated above are good enough for me
Bills - because we put them in, and their fans are showing gratitude (https://www.buffalorumblings.com/2018/1/2/16840420/buffalo-bills-fans-showing-gratitude-to-andy-daltons-foundation)
Eagles - they're one of the teams that have never won the Super Bowl, and they will have to do so with a backup QB
Vikings - Mike Zimmer.  Love that guy.  Miss the DC who made our defense great for many years.
Jackson-ville - I like them for some odd reason I cant put a finger on

Just so we're clear: Mike Brown is utterly and completely incompetent as a Football person.  I hear he's a smart lawyer, no idea if that is true or not.  You will never see me defending Mike "Son of a Genius" Brown.  The apple fell far from the tree, rolled downhill, and into a cesspool

however

Burfict isn't an animal.  He is a human being with family and people that care about him

But....I guess based on logic that concludes Burfict is an animal, I guess you also need to include Juju, Whines Hard, Vince Williams, Shazier, Terence Garvin, Kimo Von Oelhoeffen, Mike Mitchell, and Joey "Casino Ambush" Porter.

I don't know if Mike "Hokey Pokey" Tomlin's special teams play qualifies him as an animal by this logic or merely just a disgrace as a coach

TJ,

Thanks for pointing out that Burfict isn't an animal. Now when will you just as correctly point out that the Steelers quarterback isn't a rapist?

Yeah, but as TJ says the Rooneys had to pay off the NFL to get into the Super Bowls and then pay even more to get those six titles. Not to mention how much they must have been paying to all those defense lawyers they needed for their criminal players.

Of course the Rooneys paid off everyone for those six titles!  I got free season tickets for the rest of my life, a box seat at Heinz Field and all the food I can eat at Primanti Bros.  GO STEELERS!!!

Surprising. When I google Sandusky an entry for some fellow named Jerry Sandusky comes up first. I guess he must be famous for something.

May I inquire politely as to why Jerry Sandusky is being 'brought up' in this thread?

The Sandusky crimes were discussed elsewhere in this forum, primarily in this thread.  Should you wish to go there and litigate it further, please do.  That is the appropriate place.
