Sam's Club on the Black Horse Pike in Pleasantville has a Hot Dog/Soda combo for $1.73
A very big Nathan's dog and a large (refillable) soda.   Great shopper's lunch!

Removed Jacks Franks in Union. They were renamed Franx I think, but their website says they closed. :(

Removed Windmill in Westfield, NJ. They are closed. There is one in Freehold not on our map, but I don't see it on Google Maps if I zoom in. I just put it in by address.

I also removed one more I can't remember. Closed as well.

Cool! But when I open the link on my IPad it shows Rutt's Hut being right in the middle of Staten Island.

Thank you for pointing that out. Awhile ago I found another one like that. I just thought some kind of random mistake so I fixed it and didn't say anything, but now that you found another one that was wrong too I'm guessing it's a problem on Google's end. Maybe when they update their software or whatever it broke something.

Anyway, anyone can edit the map.. so if someone spots an error in the future, the fix is to click edit to edit the map.. once you're in edit mode, search for the wrong entry and click it's map marker (pinpoint? whatever it's called). Click Edit and Delete it from the map. Then re-add it by entering the address up top, adding to map, then Editing the name.

Or you can always leave me to do it.. if I see someone report a problem on the forums I'm always glad to do it.

Sorry to hear Cool Dog Cafe in Marlton or Cherry Hill whatever the town was is closed as of October 2015. They'll be missed. I deleted them from the map. :(

It was Cherry Hill. The owner opened a new place in the Moorestown Mall called Moon Dog Grill.

Thanks! I'll have to get down there one day.

I just found this place as well:

https://www.facebook.com/guarddogz/

He doesn't have an actual address listed. I'll try to add him to map later.

I don't think Guard Dogz has a permament spot, so I've added their address as the Manahawkin Flea Market since they've been there, but check their Facebook for where they currently will be.

Also added Hot Dog Diva in Tuckerton to the menu. I love cheese fries with lots of cheese, so I might have to visit her after seeing pictures on Facebook:

and Grab A Weiner in Wildwood:

That is so cool! Wow, the things I miss when I don't visit in a while!

I love Maui's Dogs - they use my hometown dog (Hofmann) and, unlike at home, have great toppings. They also make "salty balls" which are a Central NY summer favorite salt potatoes!

Great idea, WarmBeer! I will have to use this in the Fall when I'm in other areas of Jersey for marching band competitions!

Added Tasty's Grill to the map. I drove by last weekend and saw a sign advertising Texas Weiners. Unfortunately, I had just had a big meal and was stuffed.

Added Sabretti's in Hopatcong. They have different wild game sausage every week. You can text them to get on the list of what type they have.

Added Brothers BBQ in East Windsor, NJ to the map.

They have Italian Hot Dogs, Chili Cheese Dogs, Chicago Style Dogs, and NY Style Dogs.

I don't know what type of hot dog they use. I asked, but the kid at the counter didn't know. I had an Italian Hot Dog and it was huge. It looked like an Arnold Beef Sausage, which are like an inch in diameter or something. I haven't tried the other dogs yet to say what they are.

Re: NJ Hot Dog Map 2016/07/24 15:04:55 (permalink)
I found this in a search today.. let's see how many things I can find misspelled on their menu besides "Madd" and "Dogg".

"Balssamic"
"Mustart"
"Rellish"
"Potato & Backed Bean Dogg"
"Rellish & Mustard Dogg"
"Pickel, Cucumber, Rellish Dogg"

On the Specials page "Southers BBQ Dog"

I am purposely not going there because of the misspellings and horrible website. Doesn't even have an index.html page.. you have to paste one of the longer things in:

http://madddoggfranks.wix.com/madddoggfranks#!about/c10fk

Anyway, I added it to the map.

Looks like most of those misspellings are on purpose but they get old, fast.  Not 100% sure because I see both mustard and mustart.  huh?

I leased to a Madd Dogg for a couple of years that used my location as a commissary for his carts.  He also thought the double letter misspelling was cute.

I also sometimes avoid a product because I detest their advertising.  I find some advertising insulting.
