I was in Nashville, Indiana a couple of weeks ago.  Wandering Jew, who went through there a few days before I did, suggested Miller's Ice Cream House.  So I went there.  The owner, who is retiring after 40 years so he can turn the business over to his children, came out and talked to me for a while.
    Millers Ice Cream House
    61 West Main Street
    Nashville, IN 47448
    Phone: (812) 988-0815
Thing to Eat: Persimmon pudding pie ice cream.  I also tried the lemon ice cream, which was good, but I thought the apple butter ice cream didn't have much flavor compared to the other two.
    WJ also suggested:
The Nashville General Store & Bakery
    118 East Washington Street
    Nashville, IN 47448
    (812) 988-6362
    Hours: 9AM–5PM

I didn't get to go here, opting instead for:
    Gnaw Mart
4947 Indiana 46 and Brown Hill Road
    Nashville, IN 47448
    (812) 988-4575
    Thing to eat: giant tenderloin
It is about three miles east of town.  It is an old convenience store with a dining room in the back.  It was a roadfood staple for a long time.

Sorry I missed this.   I would have suggested the Hobnob.
