6 Burner range with oven arrived last week.  I was a little skeptical about what I would actually receive since I got such a great deal on it.  But all was fine, brand new with the box and wrap. Now I'm just waiting for the gas connector hoses to be delivered so I can install the appliances and bolt 'em all down.

Blakkmoon, I'll save this one in my watchlist on eBay just in case I run into problems.  The one that I have now is just about right with the low amps coming from the 12 volt DC out from the generator.  If I tie in anything else on that circuit the pump can't keep up the correct pressure and the generator starts to sputter a bit.

You can also run the 12 VDC directly from your battery to a solenoid.  Then wire the 12 VDC from your generator plug to the coil on the solenoid.  The pump will pull its juice from the battery and the low amp feed from the genset should still be enough to energize the coil.  I use a similar setup on my boat when I switched to electric fuel pump.  Ensures the pump only runs when the engine is running.

We are just starting out with building our food truck. Where is an inexpensive place to purchase the appliances?

I pick up the majority of my equipment from online restaurant auctions.  If you're patient you can get good used stuff for pennies on the dollar. Example, I picked up a dual steam oven that retails for about $12,000 for $80.

Hey stacyarend, I decided to buy all of my major appliances new.  Anets 50lb fryers ran about $650 ea. New Southbend 6 burner range/oven $1300 no tax free shipping. True T-49 fridge $800 and 36" Southbend griddle (NOS) $1100  from eBay.  If any of these prices sound interesting to you let me know and I will track down my receipt for the info.

Cookline completely installed.  Now it's time to reinstall the counters, prep table and test out the POS system.

Order and serving windows are trimmed out. Stations re-installed.  I have one more prep table to put in and secure tomorrow then I'll figure out how to vent my propane tankless water heater through the roof.

Final food prep table in place.  Now only if it will stop storming everyday I will get around to venting the water heater and tackling the installation of the security cameras.

I had a little time on my hands this afternoon so I decided to take a steak out of the fridge and try out the griddle.  I know it's not a true philly cheese steak without the shaved ribeye but I used what I had and I think it turned out pretty good...at least it tasted really good.  Minus the bread since I'm lowering my carb intake and no peppers, don't care for them.

The weather finally cleared up in order for me to run the exhaust for the propane water heater.  I also installed the PA system and exterior speakers. The old green lines from the previous vinyl design was pain to remove but I got it done as well as gave it a good pressure wash and light sanding in preparation for the upcoming paint job.

That is damned cheap for that True T-49! I'm in Alaska and have no such deals.  What kind of generator is that, and what is the decimals it puts out?

It's a DuroMax XP10000E.  It operates at 72 decibels.  It's a pretty good unit.  It had everything I needed and then some.  Especially the 50 amp plug.
