New Poll: Best Pizzas in NYC!

http://gothamist.com/2014/09/18/best_pizza_nyc_guide.php
So what do you guys think. I can agree with Denino's. They opened Denino's south here in Brick...and it's jammed nightly and delicious. I like that the poll is by type. No one style,I guess is perfect...of course we're not mentioning casseroles like they serve in Chicago!!!

For me, (an ex-New Yawka) the best part of the article is the typically irreverent comments left by irascible New Yawkas. God love em.

My goodness, what great looking pies!

I really liked their 'categories':  'fancy', 'slice joints', etc.

I can see that while Dallas was developing some really fine pizza places over the past ten years, the City hasn't stood still.

Adam Smith and Thomas Jefferson are smiling in Heaven, where, I trust, NYC pizza is readily available.

I could have predicted this as soon as I saw the categories. I've been to almost all the Slice Joints and The Classics, and none of the Fancy Pie places. Says a lot about me, and also a lot about NYC these days.

For what it's worth, Louie & Ernies is a particularly good find. It's tucked away in an old-school blue collar residential neighborhood in the East Bronx, about as far removed from the Fancy places as one can get, both literally and symbolically.

No website (of course!), but here's Yelp:

Speaking of pizza, my sister's friend Angela went on a pizza tour  of various places like Grimaldi's and some others.
Jessica said next time I get up there to New York, we'll have to take the tour.

I think your spellchecker is broken...it failed to fix your obvious misspelling of Domino's.
