I've been to 15 places on that list, which is pretty good considering I don't live in, nor frequently visit, LA.

Thanks ET, this list could go on forever, based on the notes added by readers. I had a few ready to go, then had to hang my head as one by one I discovered that they were no longer in business.
    The memories remain.

Great list. I've been to a lot of them, but now I see I have more to visit!

74 for me and it would have only been 72 had it not been for Chris and Amy.

I really should have been to more.

Many thanks Elise for the trip down memory lane. Having lived in LA during the middle sixties (on Hacienda Place just around the corner from Barney's Beanery) I remember many on the huge list. Plus, so many not around anymore like Brown Derby, Scandia, and Hamburger Heaven to mention just a precious few.
