Ole Bus Stop Diner In Booneville, KY

I have no idea how long this place has been around, (I never ran across it when I lived in Lexington), but this looks like a place I'd like to give a go!

And here are 10 other places I think I'd like to hit up, too! They all look like pretty decent RF joints!

I've been to The Kentucky Depot in Stanford.  It was several years ago.  We were on a driving day trip from Beaumont Inn.

It's a nice place. There's a buffet at lunchtime daily, but we ordered from the menu.  Can't remember specifically what I had, but it was a meat-and-threes kind of meal.  Usually they have quite a few daily specials. Lunch came with a choice of a roll or "cornbread," which, as the photo in the linked article shows, is like "cornbread" with BBQ in Nashville --  fried cornmeal batter cakes.  We all enjoyed our meals, but I don't specifically recall what we ate.

There's train memorabilia and a small gift shop.

It's near the L&N Railroad Museum, which is the restored depot and a couple of rail cars.
