Re:Planning A Cinco De Mayo Meal
I made my version of Mexican rice using chorizo, ground beef, sausage, vidalia onions, bell peppers, jalapeno peppers, and several spices. I sauteed the veggies before adding to the rice and I browned all the meat before adding to the rice. I added roasted red peppers and pimento peppers on top for color
I also made a Tres Leche cake that I frosted with some cream fluffy cheese frosting and added some sliced peaches and lime on top of the cake for color.
