Providence, RI

Would welcome thoughts for lunch and/or dinner in downtown Providence, near Brown University.

My first stop is always Mediterraneo on (in?) Federal Hill for Italian.

Marzilli's Old Canteen in Federal Hill is always great for lunch or dinner. Another more casual Italian Restaurant is Angelo's on the Hill. Both are on Atwells Avenue.

If you're looking for greek food, try Andreas on Thayer Street near Brown University.

Actually both Wickenden Street and Thayer Street on the East Side and Atwells Avenue on Federal Hill all have excellent ethnic, casual and formal choices.

If you're looking for a "pub like" atmosphere then consider the Trinity Brew House right down town. They have decent micobrews (for the east coast) too.

All look like good ideas; Mediterraneo has some great reviews & we'll definitely give it a look-see. Thanks & keep 'em coming.
