After Fridays BBQ chase and rainy rehearsal watch, I was recovering at home last nite...not going to pay the $75 to get PPV of the Final Competition from Lucas Stadium Live on the 'net... but I was willing to stay up to watch the free 'Real-Time' net-cast of the Awards Ceremony at 10:30 last night. They listed the TOP 10 UNITs and their Scores and ran a brief clip of a few hi-lites of their performance, So I was able to get an idea of what each group did.
Quite a variety for sure.
did finish 4th with an overall rating of 96.075
I am assuming he is now rolling west in his truck, heading for California to wrap up the season.
If you would like to watch a re-run of the ceremony, here's the link. Sit back and relax this does take awhile. There is a several minute hesitation t the start before the real program begins, please be patient or FF a bit. http://www.dci.org/news/v...4655-B07C-CA1AC2D57516
OK Stepping back a bit, Steve (PP) and I met in Indy Friday morning and made our first of several stops at the KINGS RIBS STAND ON 16THE ST. Photos below. Got a Rib Plate to sample in the truck, and several orders of rib tips (and one of pigs feet for PP) for take home. Then to the Mug n Bun for O.Rings and Root Beer,,,cross town to HANK BRISKET...out to a pair of now gone stands on the S E side, back to the City BBQ in Greenwood for ribs then up to the city to chow down and watch and listen to the corps as they rehearsed in the pkg area outside Lucas Stadium. It was like one of the mini-BBQ crawls we have done over the years. Thanks to KING RIBS and HANK the 'QUE was outstanding. and the music and action was fun to watch too. Pete is in Nebraska now , heading west. Hope he sees these soon
